KITCHEN
Most of the ingredients come from the region.
We only import spices, rice and lentils that we need for Asian cuisine in order to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible.
Our concept is high-quality, fresh and healthy cuisine with traditional Asian flavours. We place great emphasis on authenticity and our recipes are traditional style, homemade of course.
HYGIENE
Our dishes are prepared with very high health and safety standards (Covid 19: hand washing, masks, temperature checks, etc.), and pay special attention now!
Each order is packed by a single kitchen staff member and they have no contact with the courier.
OUR FOUNDER
FAISAL KHAN
Co-Founder
Faisal Khan, the co-founder of kurryworld.ch, a restaurant group known for serving the best Indian food across the country.
His experience as a Swiss national, trained in Indian and Asian cuisine and a diploma as a chef & hotelier make him the best in the business. Mr. Khan has worked with Oberoi Hotels in India, one of the best names in the hotel industry. After that, Mr. Khan managed in the Altstad in Niederdorf at Marktgasse with Kramer Gastronomy for KHAN'S FINE INDIAN DINING, Taj Palace & King's Kurry his as a specialty chef. His years of experience in the wide field of food production gives him a great overview of the daily business.
As a guest chef, Mr. Khan was at the Gourmet Food Festival in St.Moritz at the Hotel Badruttspalace. Since 2005, Mr. Khan's recipe has been used for the Annas Best line in Migros.
Goals and tasks
Mr. Faisal Khan's main goal is to introduce the exquisite tastes of Indian-Asian cuisine to European countries.
Therefore, his next project after Kurry World, is KHANS'S FLAVORS OF ASIA, which also has the same goal,
namely to bring local flavor and serve the best Indo-Asian cuisine at the most affordable and reasonable price,
keeping in mind the quality and Swissness.
